Every week is a new box. The season moves, the lineup changes, and what lands in your kitchen should fit the way your family actually eats. Two minutes of pointing from you, and it does. Here is how the pieces work.

The never-want list

On your profile there is one question: Anything you never want in your box?

That is your never-want list. Cilantro tastes like soap? No cabbage in this house, ever? Put it there, in your own words, and update it any time. It takes ten seconds and you only have to say it once.

Here is what we do with it. When we pack your box, we read your list. If something on it was headed for your box, we swap it for something of equal or greater value from the same part of the box. You never have to think about it again, and you never open a box to find the one thing nobody at your table will eat.

You will find both on your Preferences page when you sign in: a Disliked Products list to pick from, and the question “Anything you never want in your box?” to answer in your own words.

Swapping and customizing

Your box starts as our best guess, built each week from what came in fresh. From Friday at noon, when next week's box posts, until orders close Saturday at 6pm, it is yours to change.

Swap out anything you would rather not get. Swap in more of what your family runs through. Change your box size for a big week or a quiet one. Whatever is in there when orders close is what we pack.

Skipping is easy, on purpose

Going away? Fridge still full? Skip the week. No fee, no phone call, no guilt trip from us. Your box simply is not packed, and the next one picks up right where you left off. A vacation hold does the same thing for a longer stretch, and you can set either one in your account in under a minute.

We would rather you skip a week and come back happy than take a box you did not need. That is the whole deal.

If something is still off

Tell us. Reply to any email we send you and it comes to a person, Jess or Nick, not a call centre. If a swap missed, if something arrived tired, if the box just did not fit your week, we want to hear it while we can still fix it.

That is how this works. You point, we pack, and supper gets a little easier every week.
